Short CV

I am a research collaborator at the SoftNet Lab, at the Technical University of Crete in Greece, working with Prof. Minos Garofalakis. I received a Ph.D. degree from the Leibniz Universität Hannover, Germany, in the area of information integration. During my Ph.D. studies I was working at the L3S Research Center in Hannover, under the supervision of Prof. Wolfgang Nejdl.
I have obtained an M.Sc. degree in Computer Science from Saarland University and the Max-Planck-Institut für Informatik (MPI), an M.Sc. degree in Advanced Information Technologies and a B.Sc. degree in Computer Science from the University of Cyprus. My research interests are in the areas of information integration, entity linkage for heterogeneous data with uncertainties, blocking-based entity resolution for large size collections, and management of uncertain data using statistical models.
